CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR
Functions & Responsibilities
Evaluate accounting, financial, credit and other operational activities as an independent appraisal function.
Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operational controls. Formulate internal audit programs for audit of all aspects of financial transactions.
Develop an effective team of competent subordinates who understand, and are able to discharge the obligations of
their positions. Maintain liaison with the external and commercial auditors of the Company
Coordinate with the Audit Committee of the Board, and undertake special audits and investigations on the direction of the Board Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of compliance functiom etc.
Qualification, Experience & Age
Candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA). 10 years post qualification relevant experience in senior position in listed companies or Public-Sector companies. The candidate having power sector experience will be preferred.

The candidate must comply with the Fit & Proper criteria as laid down under the SoE Act, 2023 and the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013 amended up to 2017.
Remuneration & Tenure
Market compatible package (negotiable as per qualification and experience) shall be offered to the external selected candidate. In case of selection of an internal candidate, existing pay and allowances drawn along with special allowance as per directions of the Board of Directors NTDC will be offered.
The successful candidate will be offered three years contract (06 months probation) extendable with mutual consent
